Paranormal Investigator Phil Sinclair from Brampton Road, West Melton decided to look into Wombwell Woods after hearing local stories and Legends about the 'Convicts Tunnel in the woodland. HAUNTED CONVICTS TUNNEL Wombwell Woods, Barnsley UK  Paranormal Investigation For this investigation I have decided to investigate the alleged Convicts Tunnel in Wombwell, Barnsley UK.  The History of the Tunnel is in the 1800's the nearby fields were Camp Sites for Convicts that were being transported to Prison. Members of the public have said that if your stand inside the tunnel you can hear and feel the train that once passed through. Also disembodied voices have been heard and shadow figures have claimed to be seen. WATCH THE INVESTIGATION BELOW I definitely feel a presence was trying to make itself known and seemed to want to communicate with my Cameraman Ash.
